Many people fantasize about being able to work from anywhere on the face of the earth. But which digital nomad profiles have the financial opportunity to travel free?
Being a digital nomad is now within the reach of a large number of people. We aren't often aware of it because our habits haven't changed, and a sedentary lifestyle remains "the norm".
Perhaps you're unfamiliar with the term "digital nomad".
In short, a digital nomad is a location-independent person who works from anywhere and only needs his computer (or possibly a tablet or smartphone) to do so. They are not reliant on a permanent office and therefore have the freedom to work anywhere they want. By definition, he moves from one city to the next and from one country to the next on a regular basis.
Find out about the different kinds of location-independents in our dedicated article on the topic.

Some occupations or professional positions are more suited than others for a "digital nomad" lifestyle.
We gathered 4 digital nomad profiles to help you figure out positions that would give you the maximum freedom in your geo-arbitrages.
1. Pro-Blogger
It could be a YouTuber or an Instagramer/Influencer, for example. Being paid to travel or present brands and company’s items to their subscribers, that’s the dream job for many!
However, only a small percentage of people are able to live comfortably from this activity. To build a community, which will be your best display when it comes to contacting large brands, takes a lot of work at first. The number of subscribers is the key to unlocking numerous opportunities and effectively market yourself.
2. Freelancer
The freelancer works as a site editor, a community manager, a translator, a coach, among many other possibilities. They have no boss, but customers. As a result, they must give customers dependable and high-quality service while also adhering to the deadlines. They must be well-organized, rigorous, and disciplined in order to keep their customers or maintain their good reputation.
3. Independent Contractor
This can be an e-merchant.
They have an online store and a blog where they offer tangible items that are delivered to their consumers. They are also capable of dropshipping.
Here's a simple explanation if you're not familiar with the term: it entails exposing tangible objects to potential clients via a website. When one of them puts an order, the drop shipper sends it to their supplier, who is in charge of stock management and shipping the product to the consumer.
For several years, this activity has been progressively rising.
4. Infopreneur.
They generate digital items to sell on their blogs (books, video training, and online subscriptions). They advertise them on social media, Google Adwords, YouTube, Pinterest, and, most importantly, their email list.
The infopreneurs apply their knowledge and talents to improve the lives of others, whether on a personal, professional, or financial basis.
Those are only some hot profiles to become a digital nomad. In practice, becoming a digital nomad is, first and before all, a mindset.
As such we saw various surprising profiles living a nomadic lifestyle: doctors, lawyers, accountants, even field workers.
At the end, if you want to leave a sedentary 9-5 dictated lifestyle, it's all up to you. And this is good news!
